Reimagine Update: Amplifying Good Through Local Good Resale

We’re excited to share the newest addition to the Local Good Collective—and how the Reimagine Project is continuing to amplify good in our community. All of this is possible because of you: your generosity, your donations, and your purchases at Local Good Resale.

Store Manager Tisha Byrd is one of the friendly faces you’ll see when you walk into Local Good Resale—a store with purpose behind every purchase.

“My favorite part is the people,” Tisha says. “Getting to know them, hearing how much they love our mission—it feels like family.”

From gently used to brand new, Local Good Resale offers furniture and household items at discounted prices—perfect for savvy shoppers who also want to give back.

“The proceeds we make go back into our community,” Tisha explains. “Supporting the Center and Pantry, and having a huge impact for good.”

As Local Good Resale continues to grow, so do the ways people can get involved and serve—from prepping items and pricing to welcoming shoppers.

Volunteer Erin shares, “We’re always looking for opportunities. For us, volunteering here is like a date night—and assembling shelves is fun!”

Tisha adds, “We welcome families and couples to come in and serve. You get connected, and you make a great impact doing good in the community.”

Every item donated becomes more than just a piece of furniture or décor—it’s a way to amplify good in our community.
